Eben's Narrative

Marius

Loose stone was flying everywhere. "Take cover!" we hear someone shout, "into the safety vault!" Four of us sprint into the vault. "Woah!" We hear the others scream. Christof was panting heavily leaning against the mossy stone wall, his brother Fritz was doing the same thing right next to him. They had just lost the third of the triplets Johann. Vinzenz is going to the larder to grab some biscuits even though they taste horrible. I grab a drink from my rucksack that I always carry. I have food, water and room for gold. Luckily I've got lots of gold for the government. We take the emergency elevator out of the mine. When we get out of the mine we are lost for words.

Vinzenz

"OMG!" I say in shock, "I hope the government is okay"

As far as I can see there is rubble and dirt scattered everywhere. It wasn't just the other miners it was the whole country. Dead. The gold of my fellow miners and mine is no use anymore. 

"No more money, no more friends and family accept us" says Fritz dramatically. We stroll through the bare city and look around the place where the whole country got nuked. 

"You know what" Christof  whispered to me, I think the whole world got nuked. 

I gasp, and I whisper back,

"I think you're right."

This is such a gutting feeling to find the whole world has been nuked and you're the last four alive. "It's not good for anyone," my brother Fritz whispers in my ear. 

I wonder if there are others who survived the nuclear bomb? Before I have a chance to reply, Marius shouts out.

"Stop everyone, isn't it meant to be WWIII?"

"Yes it's WWIII, the nuclear bomb, duh!" Vinzenz tells Marius. 

"Hey there's some people who are coming to attack us!" I whisper to my friends. 

Luckily Fritz and I carry 2 guns.

Fritz

"Quickly" I shout, "the guns." 

We start firing at the Americans. 

"They're running into a NASA space station, after them!" Marius shouts. 

"They're in the rocket!"

"Omg, they got away"
